How to customize your chart

Chart settings

With a PROP365 account on TradeLocker, you can adjust your chart settings to match your trading preferences, making your analysis more efficient and personalized.

Step 1: Navigate to settings

Click on the Settings icon located in the bottom left corner of the screen. This will open the settings panel, where you can modify your chart preferences.

Step 2: Chart panel preferences

In the Chart Panel section, you can customize what appears on your chart:

• Ask Price: The bid price is displayed by default, but you can enable the ask price as well.
• Bid Price: Heikin Ashi charts don’t show the bid price by default, but you can enable it here.
• SL/TP Handles: Stop-loss (SL) and take-profit (TP) handles are hidden unless an order is selected. You can choose to keep them visible at all times.

Bear in mind that any changes you make here will be applied across devices.

Step 3: Customize your chart appearance

Default chart settings

By default, TradeLocker loads candlestick charts, where:

• Green candles indicate a price increase (closing price is higher than opening).
• Red candles indicate a price decrease (closing price is lower than opening).

Customize candles and colors

If you want to change what your chart looks like, go to the candle icon dropdown menu and select the type of chart you want. You can choose between eight different types of charts, including bar charts, candlesticks and line charts.

To change any of the chart settings including information shown and color preferences:

• Right-click on the chart
• Go to settings

Chart settings available:

• Symbol Tab: Change the color of the candles.
• Status Line Tab: Modify what information appears in the top-left corner of the chart.
• Scales Tab: Adjust settings related to the chart scales.
• Appearance Tab: Customize the background, grid, and overall chart colors.
